Mike Schy

Mike Schy, a PGA Professional with 25+ years of teaching experience, got his start in the golf business when he was just 10 years old, picking up range balls at his local country club. From there he went on to play college golf at Fresno State, and transition into many roles in the industry including club fitter, head golf professional at Belmont Country Club, founder of a golf management company, and eventually transitioning into teaching. Today he runs the Mike Schy Golf Performance Institute at Dragonfly Golf Club which specializes in the coaching and development of collegiate and junior golfers. Schy’s teaching philosophy and methods have helped many outstanding young golfers achieve a high level of success including the winner of both the 2015 NCAA Individual Championship and the 2015 U.S. Amateur, and now professional golfer, Bryson DeChambeau.
